To create this photogram, Christina took a piece of transparent plastic covered in paint and placed it upon solar paper (cyanotype). To me, this technique is very similar to the Cliché-Verre experiments by Camille Carot.
A pioneer of the “Rayogram”, Man Ray animated his photograms to make the short film “Le Retour A La Raison” (The Return to Reason) in 1923.
